Where are we?

Located in the picturesque rural village of St Michael's on Wyre Lancashire, the fishery is easily accessible from both the M6 and M55 motorways.

From M6 North, Junction 33

Leave M6 at junction 33 and take turning for A6 Garstang.  Follow this road for approx 5 miles passing by the villages of Forton, Middle Holly, Lower Holly, and the town of Garstang. 

Shortly after you have passed Garstang, you see a sign indicating a right turn onto the A586 to Blackpool / Fleetwood and will approach a 'BP' fuel station on your right hand side, which is located at the junction.

Turn right onto the A586, passing the village of Churchtown on your left and continuing until you reach the village of St Michaels on Wyre.

Once into the village, you will pass a speed camera on your left hand side (30 MPH in village) and will soon approach a sharp left hand bend in the road.  At the bend, you need to turn right into Rawcliffe Road.  Briarcroft Fishery is now approx 300 yards down the road on your left hand side.

From M6 South, Junction 32

Leave M6 at junction 32 and take the exit signposted A6 Garstang.  Continue on this road for approximately 5 miles until you reach a left hand turning signposted Guys Lodgings and Thatched Hamlet.

Turn left into St Michaels Road and continue on this road until you reach a mini roundabout in St Michael's on Wyre village.

Turn right at this roundabout and continue over the bridge and past St Michael's garage on your left hand side.

You should now prepare to turn next left on a sharp right hand bend into Rawcliffe Road.  Briarcroft Fishery is now approx 300 yards down the road on your left hand side.


From M55, Junction 3


Leave M55 at junction 3 and take the exit signposted A583 for Fleetwood.  Follow this road for approx 3 miles until you reach a major junction with traffic lights.  You need to turn right at this junction, which will be signposted M6 North / Lancaster.

Follow this road for approx 3 miles until you reach the village of St Michael's on Wyre.  Drive through the village until you reach the mini roundabout.  Continue straight on over the bridge and past St Michael's garage on your left hand side.

You should now prepare to turn next left on a sharp right hand bend into Rawcliffe Road.  Briarcroft Fishery is now approx 300 yards down the road on your left hand side.
